The second StoRIES project meeting was held on 11 May 2022 in Padua and gathered more than 40 participants in person and almost 20 online participants from 11 European countries.
The work package and working group leaders presented the progress of the StoRIES project since the kick-off meeting in November 2021 in Ulm, Germany. In the last 6 months, the StoRIES partners have been extremely active, as evidenced by the submission of 6 major deliverables, the launch of the StoRIES website, the definition of the first draft of the Roadmap for Hybridization of Energy Storage, Working Groups expert recruitment and the launch of the first TNA call at the end of April 2022.
StoRIES received very positive feedback from the Advisory Board members: Jeroen Büscher from Research Group for Energy Technology in VITO said “overall, I’m pleasantly surprised by the effort that has already been performed and documented” and Magda Magdalena Graczyk-Zajac, project leader at Research & Development from EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG, added “the project develops in a very good way”.
We look forward to our next project meeting, which will be held together with the SUPEERA and EERA JS ES meeting on November 14-16, 2022 (Please save the date). The meeting location will be announced soon.
