About the event

The Interactive Workshop: Setting-up a common base for sustainability assessment to unlock the potential applications for hybrid energy storage systems” will be held on the 6th of December in Vienna. The event is organized in the frame of WP4: ‘Supporting the transition towards a climate neutral continent’ of the StoRIES project and will take place at the premises of the Austrian Institute of Technology in Vienna.


The workshop is part of the 3-day event ‘Hybrid Energy Storage Days’ jointly organised by the EERA JP ES and StoRIES project.

In line with EU’s Green Deal climate neutrality targets by 2050, several regulations are released to promote expansion of renewable energy sources (RES) capacities. To do so, sustainable energy storage technologies are required to meet the grid service requirements due to the changing generation and demand patterns caused by RES covering various reaction time, storage duration,…
