Speaker Gaetano Zizzo is Associate Professor at the Engineering Department of the University of Palermo. He obtained the M.Sc. degree and the PhD. degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Palermo in 2002 and in 2006, respectively. 

His main research interests are grounding, electrical safety, power system design, demand response, aggregation and smart grids, distributed generation. He is author of more than 290 scientific papers on journals, conference proceedings, technical reports and book chapters.
